The Corbett Foundation (TCF) was established in 1994 and it started its operation at village Dhikuli (Ramnagar) at the outskirts of the world famous Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve. Over the years, TCF has expanded its operations in the North Zone of the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) with its field office at Rathuadhab, a remote village in the area.
In CTR and it's adjoining forest divisions, TCF has been running Interim Relief Scheme for the people suffering from cattle depredation by tiger and leopards, giving medical aid to the people living in remote villages, and spreading education and awareness among the various stakeholders. The above activities of the TCF are grouped under three programmes i.e. Wildlife Conservation Programme, Environment Awareness Programme and Rural Medical Outreach Programm.
