The
Corbett Foundation (TCF) is highly concerned about the rising global
temperatures and the resulting human-induced climate change. To
spread awareness about the hazards of global warming and climate
change, TCF inaugurated a first-of-its-kind Information-cum-Interpretation
Centre on Global Warming in Dhikuli at the outskirts of Corbett
Tiger Reserve in 2009. The Centre has state-of-the-art exhibits,
information panels, diorama, LCD display for movie and a computer
with a programme where visitors can calculate carbon footprints
based on their life style. The Centre is very useful and highly
popular among the students of nearby schools and colleges. TCF regularly
organises visits of schools and colleges to the Centre.
